Second Edition. Due to an accident of nature and technology, a lone Earthman is transported to the leviathan space ship the 'QvO'. The ship is lurking hull down behind the moon, from where it is quietly studying the plants and creatures on the Earth's surface. The spacecraft is manned by the descendants of humanslaves that were captured by the Rap Foundation , from sailing ships on the high seas. The Raps then bred them to produced more slaves. Eventually, through insurrection, the slaves overthrew their Rap captors and subsumed their empire, Currently the QvO crew is studying Earth for historical reasons. The data they gather will be made available to their own population when they returned home. The space ship travels the cosmos engaging a new form of space travel titled 'Dark Matter Transit' ( 'DMT. to its crew). Dark matter has no breadth, no length, no height and it is the only constant in all universes. Because Dark Matter has no dimensions you do not travel through it in the conventional sense of going A though to B.
To return the Earthman back to his planet was not considered feasible because he suffered an injury during his journey to the QvO, which they have now healed. Their replacement of his lost limb is, at this time, beyond Earth technology to accomplish, so his return would prematurely confirm' absolutely ' that the QvO was out there but they are not yet ready to disclose their presence The Earthman elects to join the crew of the QvO and he travels the universe with it as a valued member of its crew. His journeys take him to the depth of space and to meet with strange creatures and engage in wars with hostile life forms. Finally even Earth is in the firing line ....
